Description
Gaia is a reducing glass made from crushed Effetre Dark Emerald Green which when we had it tested for lead, tested above the limit for Lead Free at 475ug/g. This is why we’ve discontinued it.
Gaia can produce surface coloration ranging from blues to greens and creams. Heavy reduction can yield red streaks, while very heavy reduction can develop a metallic iridescence.
Work in a neutral flame, cool until the glow is gone, then reduce.
