Description
A kiln striking color producing rich purples and greens. No flame striking is required.
To get the best results with your kiln we recommend you make a simple bead to use as a test.
Anneal the test bead at your regular temperature.
Pull out the bead at one hour intervals and check its progress.
As it strikes it will go Amber – Ruby – Purple – Green – Blue – Opaque Red.
Make note of the results and use that information to achieve your desired kiln striking.
If it does not strike enough for you in your time frame, you have two options.
1.) leave it in for an additional day’s annealing cycle, or
2.) Increase the striking temperature to accelerate the strike.

Double Helix glass is incredible and Pandora is no exception! If you don’t want to do a separate firing to bring out her vast color potential, simply anneal it with your regular schedule. It becomes a rich marbled pale green that reacts beautifully with pure silver and dark ivory glass. Don’t sell Pandora short – she has plenty to offer!

PANDORA
I’ve succumbed to buying every DH silver glass and this is the only one that does nothing for me. Repeated annealing has no effect. I don’t want to go over 960′ because of the other beads in the kiln. It’s a big disppointment.

LOVE PANDORA
i was expecting something to come up in the flame- any color just to let me know that i had done it right- but nothing- so i dissappointedly stuck it in the kiln after trying to get just SOMETHING in the flame- OHHH MY! after two cycles in my kiln i had something that i had truely never seen before- it is beautiful. i got just about every color of the rainbow and then some!
