Description
Kalypso is more intense and saturated version of Clio. It’s a color-shifting, reset-reduce glass, that transmits ambers and reds with the reds being more visible under incandescent and sunlight. It develops a strong silver luster and maintains its pearlescence under encasement. Reset-Reduce colors need to be reset in a neutral flame before following the reducing process. See our guide on how to reset. See our Phaeton Tutorial for the best techniques to use with Clio.
Based of of test batches NE-323, KA-356 and KA-357.
Our second quality rods are less than perfect in shape. They may be too large, too small, too short, chipped, twisted or have an inclusion. They have all passed both our compatibility test and our color test, just not our pretty rod test.
