Description
This combination color both strikes and reduces. The strike produces a rich amber color, while the reduction, when encased with Zephyr, yields a purple pearlescent effect. The CX test batch series became the stock color, Hyperion.

I’M IN LOVE!
CX-585 is sheer magic. Today was the first time I used it, and I had phenomenal results right away – and I am NOT one of those people who are a wizard with silver glass. I got incredible color with minimal effort, and it worked with every technique I tried. I’m delighted – the only thing that would make me happier is if it was in production!

LOVE IT!
This glass is easy to get a wonderful luster by lightly striking in a reducing flame. I got a nice ruby color metallic with a few waves through the flame. Heavy reduction over reactive glasses gave a cream color that I didn’t find appealing but the the striking is just delightful. I will have to get more of this soon.
