Purple Nebula

Is similar to regular Nebula but with a manganese purple base glass.  Depending on lighting and chemical reactions, the manganese base can transmit amber tones as well as a red wine color.  This glass grows silver crystals that can appear as blue-green swirls with earthy purple undertones once encased in transparent glass.  This effect is enhanced by allowing the work to cool slightly and then reheating until a faint glow is seen.  If used without an encasing layer, the glass can be reduced to a chrome like shine.
