Description
Iaso 2 is a reduction color with a high copper content designed specifically for exterior applications. Rods of Iaso 2 are deep copper blue, and yield a metallic oil slick effect with silver, copper, and bronze tones when exposed to a reduction flame.
For all reduction techniques, cool the glass before reducing and keep the glass from overheating (turning orange).
For rainbow iridescent; use a brush reduction flame, briefly pass the glass right through the candles, repeating until the colors develop.
For mirrored silver luster; rotate the bead further out in a reduction flame. Repeat until the desired luster is visible.
For textured satin; repeatedly pass the bead through the very farthest reaches of the reduction flame without letting the bead get hot again.
