2020 Test Batch, RX-769 B, gold-violet. A transparent gold based color that produces blues and violets. Same formula different production thermal history.
It was brought to our attention that the two batches of RX-769B that were sold were not the same. The first batch, was 040220 and the second was 040920. If the label on your RX-769B does not have a date on it, it’s 040220.
We did not make any changes to the formula or cooking and are working to determine why they are different. We did apparently make a change to how hot we were running our torch. In our initial testing, the same color purple is still achievable, but they take different routes to get there. 040920 is more purple worked hot and 040220 is more purple worked cool.
